Surveying is at the heart of the world’s infrastructure and built environments. It is no surprise then to learn that it is also a building block that many other disciplines rely on - including engineering.
Now there is a new video from the University of Newcastle that features Bachelor of Surveying (Honours) student Elizabeth Evans and highlights the connection between surveying and engineering.
With engineering being a popular tertiary pursuit, it's important to realise that without the work completed by surveyors, engineers wouldn’t have the accurate measurements and data they need to complete their own job to a high standard.
